To raise awareness of the Ohio River Greenway and promote its ongoing use, development, and maintenance for the good of communities on both sides of the river.
Our Vision:
The Ohio River Greenway as a seven-mile linear park through Jeffersonville, Clarksville, and New Albany that promotes physical and social activity and provides deeper connectivity for all communities on both sides of the river.
Our Values:
Community: The Ohio River Greenway creates and enhances community by providing an easily accessed world-class venue for recreation, exercise, education, social gatherings and more.
Health: Physical activity is important to individual good health, and assets like the Ohio River Greenway contribute to improving the overall health of the community.
Economics: The Greenway enhances the economy of Southern Indiana and Louisville Metro.
Diversity: People of all abilities and from all socioeconomic backgrounds are welcome on and have access to the Ohio River Greenway.
Collaboration: Individuals, organizations and coalitions working in partnership can create effective change in our community.
Transportation: Multiple safe transportation options are a service to the community.
